Young people from Stoke Newington School and Sixth Form will be cooking up some tasty dishes to share with garden visitors in their ‘Happy Hackney’ event. They’ve been working with Envision, and won the Pitch 4 Change ‘Dragons Den’ style competition to support their event, which is themed around sustainable living and community sharing. As well as enjoying delicious home-made food and pizzas cooked by the young people in the Garden’s clay oven, you’ll be able to join in workshops, including one making seed bombs, if you fancy doing some guerilla gardening in and around Dalston.
