A ‘Sparrow Champion’ from the RSPB has been in touch to ask if the Eastern Curve and garden visitors will take part in a sparrow count project.
“We’re asking as many Londoners to tell us if they’ve seen sparrows in their garden or local green space between now and 12 July. It’s primarily a citizen science project to raise awareness of the sparrow decline but it will also give us valuable info on where colonies are still clinging on in the city.
