Moai are huge statues carved from stone over seven hundred years ago on the Polynesian ‘Easter Island’. We’ll be using the figures in the Hackney Peace Carnival Mural and the carved ‘gargoyles’ in the Garden as inspiration for our own miniature statues and heads made out of ‘dough’. They will be baked in the garden’s clay oven so we will also bake some bread for tasting too.
