Saturday 1 March, 11am – 2pm
CPRE London campaign, amongst other things, to improve the day to day quality of life for Londoners and for greener neighbourhoods. They have worked with Commonplace to create a free online tool which they will be launching at the Garden this Saturday. They describe the tool as:
‘A different way for you to share your ideas about your neighbourhood. Using your phone, home computer or other internet device, you can comment in real time, share your views, and also find out what other people in your neighbourhood think. Information is immediately available to you or your organisation’.
CPRE will also use the information gathered to develop guidelines and advice for planners, architects and developers to help inform them on the issues that people consider important about the places where they live. You can come along on Saturday to meet with people from CPRE, register online for Dalston.commonplace.is and start commenting on what’s important to you living in Dalston.
Following on from last Tuesday night’s planning meeting concerning the future of Dalston Eastern Curve Garden, we will also be gathering feedback about the current proposals. If you attended the meeting, please come along and let us know what you thought and if you weren’t able to attend why not drop in to hear more about what was discussed.
