We’ve got the last of this Summer’s free artist-led ‘Art Wednesday’ workshops for children at the Garden and to mark the final week of the holidays, we are squeezing in two extra sessions for Bank Holiday Monday.
We think Dalston needs even more green spaces like the Eastern Curve for people and birds, butterflies and bees to enjoy! Join Artist Laura Halliwell for a session of 2D and 3D modelling and papercraft to create a cityscape full of parks, gardens and trees, where every window has a window box and every spare patch of ground, every wall and every roof is a home for beautiful plants.
The workshops are most suitable for ages 5-11, but we welcome younger children too – these sessions depend on grown-ups working together with children to help us build a Dalston cityscape filled with all things green!
‘Art Wednesdays’ are free for participants, but we welcome donations to our costs as we currently receive no funding for our programme of free children’s workshops.
No prior booking is necessary but do come on the hour for each new session to avoid disappointment!
