Wednesday 23 & Thursday 24 August
We’ve worked with S+K Project at Dalston Curve Garden for the last 2 years, so we are delighted to see them back here for their third summer, this time with an exciting Dalston multi-venue line-up for two days of SKFEST.
Jamii means ‘community’ so it’s great news that for SKFEST they have been invited to bring their first pop up market to the Dalston Curve Garden on Wednesday 23 & Thursday 24 August, 12-8pm. Here’s how Jamii describe what they do:
Jamii is a discount card for black-owned businesses, where you can save on everything from your favourite hair products to stunning and empowering artwork.
We’re a platform designed to get you into the habit of thinking about the incredible businesses within the community whenever you shop. We have amazing entrepreneurial talent, and we want to see these businesses grow and grow.
So stop by the Curve Garden from noon on both days to shop with an array of Jamii businesses.
SKFEST is also bringing a performance of ‘Boys’ to the Garden on Wednesday 23 August, an adaptation of William Golding’s ‘Lord of the Flies’, with all BAME male cast.
