Dalston Flower Show 2013: Flower Appreciation Society – not your average florists.

Monday 3 June, 6.30 – 8pm

Anna Day and Ellie Jauncey – the ‘Flower Appreciation Society’ – create natural and wild floral arrangements, using English seasonal flowers wherever possible, and masses of wild foliage. Based in their Hackney workshop, Anna and Ellie make regular early morning trips to the flower market, selecting the freshest flowers.

Now they are sharing their floral expertise and passion at a ‘Dalston Flower Show’ workshop at the Garden. They will talk about their backgrounds, their three year old business and where they get their flowers from, before teaching participants how to make a small floral table decoration, using all British flowers and foliage. Participants can take their creations home with them.

Places are very limited on the ‘Flower Appreciation Society’ workshop and can be booked in advance at info@dalstongarden.org There is a £5 charge to cover the cost of all of the fresh flowers.
