‘Art Wednesday’ free weekly workshops for children are continuing at the Garden for the summer holidays. Every week inspired by the Garden and its surroundings, children can let their imaginations run wild and at the same time learn new art and design processes with Hackney-based artists and designers.
This week join textile artists Emamoke Ukeleghe and Yemi Awosile designing your own ‘Curve Garden’ bag, inspired by the plants, flowers, and wildlife in the Garden. Then you will be able to use your bag to spread the word about the Garden when you are out and about around Dalston, Hackney and beyond.
These workshops are most suitable for ages 5 -11, but we welcome younger children too, working together with adults and parents. There is no need to book in advance, but all the better if you can get there at the start of the workshop!
