Thursday 7 June, 7.30 – 9pm
The London Sea Shanty Collective, based in the Trinity Centre, just around the corner from the Curve Garden, hail from around the globe, singing shanties and maritime songs. With around 25 singers, a mix of male and female voices, and a range of ages, the Sea Shanty Collective bring all their enthusiasm to their gigs and will have you singing along in no time. They have performed at the Hull Maritime Folk Festival, London Design Fair, Canada Water Theatre and have upcoming shows in the British Museum, British Library and at the Cork and Great Yarmouth maritime festivals.
The Collective will be singing at the Curve Garden on Thursday 7 June between 7.30 and 9 pm and are planning to teach everyone a few of their favourite songs!
Thursday 31 May & Friday 1 June 2018, 1-4pm
Every holiday whenever we offer pizza-making sessions for children, we can’t keep up with demand! So for this year’s May half-term, children can join Chef David and his team at Latto’s Pizza on two afternoons making fresh pizza in the wood-fired oven.
The holiday workshops are most suitable for children aged 5 – 11, although younger children are very welcome, as long as their parent or carer works alongside them. Children under the age of 10 should be accompanied by an adult.
Pizza-making workshops are free, but we depend on your donations to help us cover our costs, so please support our work and come prepared!
We do not take bookings for our children’s activities, but places are limited, so please come early to avoid disappointment. For pizza-making, we take your name on arrival and give you a time slot for when your child can join in a session. Children can play in the Garden and work up an appetite!
