Every Saturday 2-5pm
The garden is looking lovely at the minute, thanks to the hard work of the Eastern Curve volunteer gardeners. We have big planting plans this summer – even more herbs, salads and vegetables and lots and lots of flowers – a feast for the eyes and for the bees. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join in Saturday afternoon gardening at the Curve. So if you would like to care for the Garden, learn about plants, and get out in the fresh air, come along. No experience is needed – Just wear comfortable clothes and shoes and turn up. We supply gloves and tools and a nice cup of tea and cake.
Pizza-making
Tuesday 27 & Wednesday 28 May 2-5pm
Join David from Latto’s Pizzas over two afternoons baking in the Garden’s wood-fired oven. Pizza making was very popular during the Easter holidays, so this half-term we’ve added an extra day. There will be three sessions starting on the hour each day – no need to book, but come early to avoid disappointment!
Juice it up!
Thursday 29 May 2014, 2-5pm
We’ll be mashing and chopping, stirring and blending to make lots of fruity drinks.
Chips & Dips
Friday 30 May 2014, 2-5pm
More chopping and mashing using lots of healthy ingredients, this time to make tasty dips from all over the world, like salsa and guacamole.
The half-term holiday workshops are most suitable for children aged 5 – 11. Younger children are very welcome, as long as a parent or carer works alongside them.
Donations towards the costs of the children’s workshops are very welcome
