Saturday 9 March, 2-4pm
What can children do when their favourite toys are broken? And what can we all do to cut down on the amount of stuff we buy and throw away?
Join children’s author Phoebe Swan here at the Garden on Saturday 9 March, 2-4pm for the launch of ‘King Leonard’s Teddy’, her wonderful new picture book. Phoebe will be reading from her book and children and their families can join in a free workshop making funky pencil cases to take home, using recycled materials. The workshops will take place throughout the afternoon and although there’s no need to book, we recommend that you come early to avoid disappointment. Please note, that children must be accompanied by their parents or carers during the workshop.
Copies of ‘King Leonard’s Teddy’ will be available to buy.
You can read more about the background to this lovely picture book at our ‘Stories from the Dalston Curve Garden’ blog.
