Saturday 26 October, 2-5pm
Sunday 27 October, 2-4pm
Have the amazing creations lighting up the Garden in our Dalston Pumpkin Lantern Festival impressed you? Have they inspired you to carve your own? Well now’s your chance to display your carving skills and let your imagination run wild in our final pumpkin carving weekend – this time with sessions that are dedicated for adults.
Pumpkin carving sessions for adults will take place outside, in the Garden, on Saturday 26 October, 2-5pm and Sunday 27 October, 2-4pm.
We provide the space, the pumpkins and the tools, and we ask for a small donation in return – we recommend a minimum of £3 per person.
Don’t worry if you’ve never carved a pumpkin before, we have 1,200 carved lanterns here already to fire your inspiration and our volunteer pumpkin team are on hand to give advice.
There’s no need to book a place, as sessions are offered on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis, so don’t come too late!
All of the lanterns stay in the Garden and you are invited to stay on to help with 5pm lantern lighting, ready for 6pm Pumpkin Show time! The lanterns will stay in the Garden until 31 October, for nightly light-ups.
Our cafe bar serves mulled wine and other treats and Lattos Pizzas will be serving fresh from the wood-fired oven. Please note that you cannot bring your own alcohol into the Garden.
We are unable to accommodate children in these ‘Adults Only’ carving sessions and all of our pumpkin carving sessions for children are now finished for this year. Children with their adults are welcome to come in the evening to help with lighting up the lanterns at 5pm or just to enjoy the magic of all of the pumpkins.
